Snow Owl History

  1. Oh my goodness, I just love owls! I really learned a lot about the snow owl from your presentation - great job! ps I quite like all birds but owls have become my most favourite since I saw one in real life. I was visiting the kids on camp, at Shakespear Lodge where (fingers crossed) the Year 6 will go on camp later this year. As I was walking down to the beach there was a ruru or morepork (a New Zealand owl) in the trees just looking at me. After that I had to do ceramic tile for a piece of collaborative art, and I chose an owl. An owl is often shown as being wise so I thought it was appropriate for the principal! Sometimes at night we hear rurus here in Titirangi. Do you ever hear them at your house?
